Wholesale Jewelry The Buyer And Proposition Sixty Five

I was shopping online the last week and came across some great deals on wholesale jewelry on the internet. Then when I scrolled down the web page I read how California retailers have to adhere to proposition 65 warnings. They had to let their customers know that their jewelry contained chemicals and elements that have been known to cause cancer and birth defects.

I am warned to even wash my hands after touching the jewelry. Infants and small children are to be kept away from the jewelry. And if you see anyone sucking or eating the jewelry you better tell them to stop. Who wants a cancer causing agent in their mouth?

Now I am thinking twice about giving jewelry as a gift. Or do I only have to worry in California? Do I have to tell my receiver of my gift to wash her hands after handling it? Do I have to warn them not to let their kids eat it? Or do I only have to point out the tag with the proposition 65 warning and let them worry about the rest?

Now if I buy Arizona jewelry am I off the hook? Does this mean that Arizona jewelrey does not cause cancer or does it mean jewelry sellers do not have to care about the health of their customers? It probably means they can warn if they want to but do not have to by law. Now jewelry is jewelry in all the states and all the world.

Does anyone pay attention to these warnings? Do you pay attention to such warnings? If I gave you a wrist bracelet for Christmas with a California 65 tag on it would you not accept it, if you liked the bracelet? Chances are you would wear the bracelet.

How do agents cause cancer anyway? Does the state of California have a test of jewelry causing cancer results. And what about other states. Do they simply not believe California’s results. Or do they believe them and figure let their people find out the hard way that jewelry makes them sick.

Lead has been part of the jewelry process for years. Do we know for sure if anyone has suffered any ill effects from wearing jewelry with lead? Who can say for sure. But if proposition 65 was not passed most people would not give it a second thought about the lead they might find in their jewelry. But at least if you live in California you have the opportunity to choose for yourself if you want to wear jewelry that falls under the proposition 65 category. You can decide for yourself if you want to wash your hands after handling your jewelry.

If you are giving jewelry this year as a gift you too can decide if that is the right gift to give. You can even warn people you give it to if you like. All of this I learned by shopping on the internet for wholesale jewelry.

I was searching for Wholesale Jewelry and Wholesale handbags on the web recently and I came across a website that had a California proposition 65 warning. It stated the warning was in accordance with the proposition requirement.
